Foss My 2008
I will be going to this event and you guys should too . Hopefully UTeM will sponsor someone like me to go to this event .
Will attend for the day 1 only since i have my 4 other final exam papers and it still doesn’t stop me for not going to this event at all . Wish me luck and see you guys there ! Copy from Aizatto FOSS.my 2008 is Malaysia’s premier Free and Open Source Software (FOSS) event. Whilst this is our first go at it, we aim for this to be an annual event bringing together professionals and enthusiasts from Malaysia, Singapore, Asia and the rest of the world for a two day grassroots driven FOSS conference. FOSS.my is different from other events in that we focus only on FOSS and that this conference is purely non-commercial. There will be no marketing/sales talks by vendors (we are very strict on this!) so all that is presented is FOSS goodness! Instead, vendors will be encouraged to speak on the FOSS technical aspects of their projects/tools. This approach works better as it benefits all through knowledge sharing within the community. New Theme : Google Chrome
Actually aku dah buat theme sendiri based on derek allard tapi disebabkan penyakit aku yang susah untuk mencarik kaler yang sesuai .. sekali lagi aku mengambil pilihan untuk mengambil sahaja theme yang sudah siap dan customize ikut keperluan. Aku merupakan seorang programmer .. bukannya designer seperti aisyahrozi , pelangi petang , abdus fauzi dan noktah hitam .. jadi aku x perlu risau kepada bakal majikan aku tentang betapa simple dan ringkasnya layout blog aku. Lebih baik aku fokus dengan content yang memberikan manfaat kepada pembaca dari lebih meniktikberatkan layout dan template blog. Theme ini merupakan theme dari web browser google iaitu Google Chrome. Sebenarnya aku dah tak menggunakan lagi Google chrome sebab lambat update. Web browser faveret aku sekarang adalah chromium .. Did i make u guys confuse ? Actually Google Chrome diambil dari open source project Chromium . Since the latest version of chromium dan fix masalah - masalah yang aku hadapi masa menggunakan Google Chrome .. aku terus guna chromium yang portable . pendek citer .. google chrome is a forked project dari chromium. macam kohanaphp dengan codeigniter . Anyway .. sila abaikan bahagian sidebar sebab aku takde masa nak setting. Plugin yang aku install threaded comment , breadcumb . Lepas tuh add some ajax kat search box . Hopefully lebih ramai lagi yang boleh masuk blog aku sebab lightweight.

Sweetcron is so sweet !
Sweetcron is actually an automated lifestream blog software .. You just update your blog post ? Upload new pictures at flickr ? They can keep track of all your status feeds and show it wonderfully .. I happened to knew sweetcron from Tekong actually via twitter .. Download it .. extracting .. erk ? is it dejavu ? I think i already saw this kind of file structure .. Now i know .. Sweetcron is coded using CodeIgniter !! Woot !! It is easy to setup since i am already familiar with CodeIgniter stucture .. After the yada yada yada .. i just add 2 feeds .. my twitter and my blog .. and walla .. it’s done ! You guys can view my sweetcron here and view on how to do it for yourself here. It is time for customizing !
